This has been a brilliant experience for me. I have bought and sold properties over the years but this was the first time that I (nervously!) opted for an online agent. Turned out to be one of my best decisions ever! From the moment I contacted HouseNetwork they have been professional, helpful, and friendly. David Edwards - you couldn't ask for a nicer chap - came to discuss and value the house, then returned to take photographs and prepare a new EPC. I wrote the descriptions and posted them on my home page. They added the specific information needed and the house was online the same day. Doing the visits myself was so much better than leaving it to an agent - who else but you knows the house, who else can point out selling features, talk about the neighbours, the area? My account manager, Richard Robinson, another nice chap, has been a star, as have all other members of the team I have spoken with. I sold quickly but my buyer dropped out only 48 hours before exchange. Richard had the house back up within minutes, contacted previous visitors who had shown an interest, and I had another buyer within 36 hours. In the past I have found that High St estate agents are great in the first week or two and then their interest wanes - not so with Housenetwork, they stay on the case, following visits with feedback, and when the house sells check in with the solicitors regularly to keep them active and me informed. Every phone call I had from Richard was followed up with an email so that I could keep a folder of correspondence and status. The client home page is perfect and easy to use, giving access to all aspects of the sale and making it utterly simple to replace photos, alter text, and so on. Now the money! I saved over £2,000 on fees - £2,000! and, in Weston there has been a watershed for the price of a two bed semi-bungalow. None have sold for higher than £180,000 and I was set on selling at £179,950, knowing that I would accept £175. David Edwards had done his research and insisted that it could sell for £190. That it was my decision but that I should trust him and put it up for £190. So I did, and I sold it for £190, which means I sold it for £15,000 more than I expected to get. (Now mine has sold that £180 ceiling in Weston has gone!). A friend of mine was selling two houses, her mother's and her own, and asked me about Housenetwork. She then chose them, using my affiliate code, and I made £100. So - nervous about choosing Housenetwork because they aren't on the High St? Don't be! They are better than any agent I have used before. My advice? Choose Housenetwork; trust their expertise and advice, be ready for a perfect agent experience. Do I recommend Housenetwork? Are you kidding? Of course I do!!
