With more online estate agents entering the arena, it’s interesting to note that House Network were the pioneers of this market some 10 years ago in fact it wasn’t that long ago that there were still only 3 or 4 of us! We remain at the forefront of our market and it’s testament to how much our own business has changed in this time.
The online estate agent has evolved, even though it’s still a baby it’s growing up fast and before long will be acknowledged by main stream sellers as a genuine alternative to using a traditional estate agent.
Clearly fees pay a large part in the switch from traditional to online or alternative methods of selling but one thing remains true and that’s the importance of customer service, cutting costs doesn’t mean cutting corners, far from it.
House Network has long been the most expensive online estate agent, this is for a very good reason, we’ve listened and learned from our customers and we simply cannot offer a dumbed down service, there are thousands of excellent high street agents that for years and years have been doing a magnificent job on the customer service side, I even hear of agents sending flowers to buyers to welcome them to their new home. A nice touch and it’s those nice touches that make all the difference in today’s hard-to-please consumer market. We’ll always want to be the “reassuringly expensive” online agent.
With social networking and review sites taking off and becoming commonplace in our lives (where would we be without the likes of Twitter, Facebook & Trip Advisor?) it’s so important to offer a first class service but at the same time of course, we offer fantastic savings compared to high street estate agents.
We now (very proudly) have some 2,800 testimonials, customers who have taken their own time to write about how happy they’ve been with our service. We’re 98.1% recommended and our average score from clients is 9/10, so we''re not perfect (close but not quite!) but that’s every reason to continue to strive for 100% satisfaction for each and every customer.
