What is GP2?
GP2 is the testing ground for Formula 1 drivers of the future, and has provided 60 drivers to the sport over the past 12 years. GP2 is a full championship in its own right featuring 12 teams and 24 drivers. The difference between GP2 and F1 is that the cars are all built by Dallara, and feature a 4.0 Litre normally aspirated V8 engine, it is then up to the individual team to tune the vehicle to suit the drivers style. The series itself lasts for 11 races over 7 months including the Circuit de Monaco, Silverstone and Monza.
Alex Lynn is a ferociously ambitious Essex born driver who is now in his second year of driving for GP2, he is also the current development driver for Williams Martini F1 team. This year he remains with the well-established DAMS racing team and is known as a serious title contender having finished 6th overall in 2015.
House Network prides itself on ‘fairness’, and values this as part of its core substance. GP2 also shares this quality in that all drivers are given a level playing field to race upon, with no significant advantage over anyone else. Alex Lynn aims to be the best he can be in this environment, and shares many other qualities with ourselves:
1. Ferociously ambitious – We aim to be the number 1 online agent in the UK
2. Driven and determined – We seek to provide the very best customer service in our field and will not rest unless we have achieved this
3. Essex born and bred – House Network was established in 2003 in Essex and still maintain a significant office just outside of Chelmsford
This weekend sees the sixth race of the season for GP2 2016 at the Hungaroring, Hungary and taking his place will be Alex Lynn who we have chosen to proudly sponsor for the 2016 season.
