With world cup fever sweeping the nation, here at House Network we thought it was only right to take a look at the luxurious pads of some of the world cups biggest stars.
Kicking off the list with some Brazilian flair is recent Barcelona acquisition Philippe Coutinho. The former Liverpool playmakers mansion is located in Bellamar, an exclusive sought after area in Barcelona. He is said to be stayin near Suarez and Messi who also live around the area.
The property boasts a huge living room and kitchen which complements the spacious garden and tranquil swimming pool. With a first touch like Coutinho's it’s no surprise he has a teqball table to perfect his artistry.
Houses are usually priced between € 3-5 million euros in the Bellamar area, which is a convenient twenty five minutes from the Barcelona training facilities. Fellow countrymen and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho used to live in the same area when he was lighting up the Nou Camp.

2. Sergio Ramos
Next up is Barcelona's archenemy, Sergio Ramos. The Real Madrid and Spanish captains’ Madrid home hosts a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, home office and sports room, and is no doubt a sanctuary for when he’s finished on the field. The property has an estimated value of 6.5 million pounds, roughly 10% of his net worth. Ramos lives in the luxury pad with his long term partner and their three children.
The Brazilian wonderkid Neymar, who has gone on to prove himself as one of the best footballers in the world, opted to rent in France instead of buying when completing his record breaking transfer fee to Paris Saint-Germain. The rented property has five storeys, is 10,800 square feet and located in the posh western suburb of Bougival, standing tall on a hillock within 50,000 square metres of grounds.
The house, which has never been put up for sale since being built in the 1950’s, comes complete without a luxurious indoor swimming pool. Would you expect any less from the world's most expensive footballers
4. Lionel Messi
Argentinian Lionel Messi, arguably the best footballer to ever play the game, purchased his Spanish home for 1.8 million Euros and has spent more than 6 million renovating it. The modernised pad has breathtaking views overlooking the catalan hills. The spectacular garden consists of a playground he built for his young boys, as well as a small football pitch and swimming pool.
There is also a stunning terrace with a barbecue and outdoor dining area where I’m sure he likes to spend time celebrating achievements such as his five Ballon d’Or wins.
5. Jordan Henderson
A surprising addition to the list, Henderson is a current England international plying his trade for Champions League finalists Liverpool FC. Having played most of his footballing for just two clubs (Sunderland the other) the 28 year old is worth millions and as such has a wonderful multi-storey property in Liverpool currently valued at between £1.8 - 2.2 million pounds
The modest interior decor and lack of massive statues/paintings (as you might find in other footballers' homes) may suggest Henderson prefers the simpler and less extravagant things. He will be hoping his performance in the World Cup puts him in a stable with his club team for the upcoming season.
6. Cristiano Ronaldo
A list of luxurious World Cup footballer’s houses wouldn’t be complete without this man. Cristiano Ronaldo's stylish 8,600 foot Madrid home is worth 4.8 million pounds and comes complete with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a trophy room and of course a home gym, used to sculpt his famous athletic physique! You can see right from the entrance who the house belongs to, with his initials in metal detailing across the front door.
The stylish outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi extends the sleek design of the interior to the exterior, with incredible balconies and facilities this place looks perfect for the Portuguese superstar, his model girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and young children.A guided tour by the man himself: https://www.theguardian.com/football/video/2015/dec/23/a-tour-round-cristiano-ronaldos-house-video
